Granada looked so beautiful in the winter sun last week that I felt I must try to capture some more scenes in painting. Here is the Alhambra Palace from the garden of the Mezquita. This peaceful oasis is next to the Mirador de San Nicolas in the Albaicin where the tourists gather to see the great views of the castle and palace. The garden with its fountain of classical andaluz mosaic surrounded by mediterranean flowers and trees makes a wonderful foreground with which to frame the castle and palace.
The medium is watercolour
