Agua Amarga is a small, boutique resort on the edge of the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata and the next village up the coast from Las Negras where I live. Agua Amarga is set in a bay with a beautiful, sandy beach. In order to find a composition interesting to paint I went to the far end of the beach, where small boats are pulled up on to the sand, and painted this scene looking back. It is painted in my usual style of watercolour rather than a sketch but there is not too much detail to paint in the scene so I have priced the original accordingly.
