Another sketch of small boats on the beach in my village, Las Negras. This is the iconic view of the village with the black, volcanic headland, Cerro Negro, in the background. I have painted this view many times but it always is different depending on the light and the composition of the boats. Here I have tried to capture soft, early morning light and a calm sea in May. These new paintings offer affordable art to visitors to our village although they can still be purchased by collectors on line as I ship my paintings to collectors all over the world. They are painted using the same professional pigments and on the same heavy Arches watercolour paper which I use for my more detailed and expensive work. The difference is that they are slightly smaller and the style is freer.
The size of the image is 340mm x 240mm.
The original painting is for sale for 50 euros.
PRINTS. Superb quality, limited edition (1-100) signed prints on Canson Infinity Arches Aquarelle paper, 310gm, A4 size, are available for 20 euros and can be purchased direct from me.
