The two Spanish donkeys belong to Manuel, a neighbour of mine in Las Negras, who has a small farm on the edge of the village. They usually come to the fence to speak to me when I go there to buy fresh vegetables. I am particularly fond of donkeys so I enjoyed painting them. I hope you like the painting too.

The original painting has been SOLD to a collector in Scotland.
