One of the most popular views of Granada featuring the Alhambra with the Sierra Nevada behind. I have painted this scene several times and I captured it again on my last visit to the city when, although it was a sunny day, there had been fresh snowfalls on the sierras the night before and the snow line was low. Although a winter scene the light was lovely and the colours fresh.
